A Pittance of Time

November 11 is Remembrance Day in Canada. I'd ask everyone to read the story on the site (link below) by Terry Kelly who explains why he wrote the song ... and then please take two minutes of your time to go to the site and watch the songvid, and to remember with pride and gratitude those who fought and died for us in the past, and those who are fighting and still dying today in the name of hope and freedom. Whether we agree or not with the peacemaking efforts today, our men and women in uniform are doing, and have always done, their best.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. It touches the past and the present, the war front and homefront, and it puts 'us' in the frame, the ones who only have to remember and be grateful. It's a wonderful vid and I may buy a version from his site, just to watch it in a larger format. I'm glad you found it affecting, too.

Yes! I discovered this song and video last year and found it does a wonderful job of bringing the whole Lest We Forget thing to the fore. =>}
