Hmmm. Goofy is not a word that comes to mind when I think about you. However, you could certainly carry off 'corny' jokes with aplomb.

Will Smith? Niiiice... *drools on keyboard*

Sorry, what were you saying? ;p

Light-hearted is good, and accurate of what I know of you. :)

Yeah, I adore Will Smith, too. Being included in any category with him is very nice, indeed. ;)

I saw your results and would agree you are much wittier than I. On the chart, though, it looks like 'ham' and 'wit' are nearly interchangeable ... seems you're just slightly darker and a bit more cerebral than I!

I don't even think it's more cerebral, just more cynical. And, well, yeah, me and "dark" have a long and monochromatic history, so :)

I much prefer Will Smith's brand of humor to those of the two examples of "wit" I've actually heard of (can't abide Woody Allan). My brand of humor frequently has people laughing... until they realize I actually have a good point ;p

I can't abide Woody Allan, either. I'm not a fan of relentlessly dark, cynical and sarcastic humour -- too often, it's hurtful rather than funny. I can identify with folks laughing until they realize that, while amusing, the point is also very valid. I guess, in a general sense, I just think it's healthier to laugh than not.

No, hurtful humor ticks me off no end (mostly because, among all its other disadvantages, it implies that Freud was right about something, lol).

Laughing is better, yes *nods* The alternative is to live in ignorance of the way the real world works or to lose heart altogether. So laughing is good :)
