Fun and Freewheeling Fantasy

If you're looking for something new to read, let me highly recommend Randolph's Challenge by Chris Warren, who has created an amazing fantasy world in Alusia, peopled by humans, fairies, trolls, gnomes, the personifications of evil, talking bears (if you know the language) and ... well, a rich and varied, highly satisfying tapestry that never takes itself too seriously. Randolph, a wandering minstrel, discovers he has a daunting role to play in the emerging battle between good and evil; he holds the future in his hands and, as his journey begins, he's not at all sure he's equal to the challenge. On the way, he meets those who will help him, including the lovely Martha, wizards and knights, and even a ghost, Tinkerboo. And he reunites with old friends, too, who join him for one of his most perilous quests. The book is fun and free-wheeling, well-crafted, and rich with description and memorable characters. Book One in the Randolph's Challenge trilogy is a great deal of fun ... and I'm eagerly looking forward to the publication of Book Two.

You're welcome! I can't wait until the second book comes out to see what happens next! Great characters! LOL, there's even a talking walking stick, 'Twig', which is delightful!
